Your audio stays on your device

Song Slower reads selected files in your browser and processes audio locally. We do not upload, store, or receive your audio. Closing this tab releases the in-memory audio; files you download remain in your Downloads folder.

Website delivery

Cloudflare serves this website and may process technical request data, such as IP address, user agent, and request time, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from your audio, which is not sent to the server.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics loads only if you choose Allow analytics. Declining it does not affect the audio editor. After you allow it, Google receives page visits and five basic tool events: a successful audio load, an edited preview becoming ready, an export download starting, a preset being saved, and an editing mode changing. Tool events contain only predefined mode, export format, or preview/export scope values. Audio, filenames, preset names, contact details, and other text you enter are never sent to analytics. Page URLs exclude query strings and fragments; referrers are reduced to their origin. Google also receives the technical browser and network data needed to deliver and measure these requests. This site does not enable advertising features, Google Signals, user IDs, or session recordings.

Your choice is remembered in this browser's local storage. When allowed, analytics uses dedicated first-party cookies with a 180-day lifetime. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. Declining stops this site's analytics events and clears its analytics cookies. Clear this site's browser data to remove the remembered choice. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles data it receives.

Settings on this device

Your most recent sound settings for each mode are remembered in local browser storage. If you save a named preset, its name and settings are stored there too. No audio or filenames are stored. Delete named presets in Saved settings, or clear this site's browser data to remove all remembered settings.

Email contact@songslower.com for help or feedback. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages to our support inbox. If you email us, we receive the sender address, message, and any attachments you choose to send; these are separate from files opened in the audio editor.
